Started his career as a creative and manager in the media industry (advertising, television and films). Paul produced short films and documentary projects in various Countries of the Mediterranean area, developing an international experience and reputation. Then set up his own business in the Gulf countries, contributing to building a stronger local film production environment. Actively contributed to the setup of Screen Institute Beirut and is strongly committed to promote and develop an Arab screen culture that reflects the views, issues and interests of audiences and communities in the Arab world and to foster international collaboration and networks. Among others, Paul produced the award wining film “Chatti ya dini” – Director Bahij Hojeij (2010). The film won many regional and international awards starting with the Black Pearl award during the Abu Dhabi film festival 2010. He also produced the Emirati filmmaker Ali Mostafa’s second film “From A to B” released in winter 2015 in the Arab world and dubbed into Italian for an Italian release in spring 2016 “Viaggio Da Paura”. Paul has an extensive experience as film expert and mentor, and participated in many workshops and festivals in both the Arab world and Europe.
